Who was Donny Davis ?

Donny Davis, a comedian loved by Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus, died in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday. He was 43 years old.

The impersonator, who frequently appeared on Chelsea Handler’s show Chelsea Lately, was found dead inside a room at the Resorts World hotel, according to a local report by 8 News Now.

Cause of Death

Authorities responded to the hotel at the southern end of the strip just after 6 a.m. and the cause of death has not yet been determined pending an autopsy.

Davis was known for hilarious impressions of him on the comedy circuit, including playing a ‘Mini-Trump’ version of Donald Trump, and was also working on a series of podcasts with Kelly Osbourne and her old friend Jeff. Beacher.

Davis performed with Britney in Las Vegas at her Piece of Me residency in 2013 and was a Los Angeles regular for over two decades at Jeff Beacher’s Madhouse.

He wrote: ‘It was impossible to be around him without having a good time. His energy was limitless and he got all he could out of life with the time he had here. A good lesson for all of us. I miss you already, friend. Rest in peace and wreak havoc in the sky. You’re unforgettable.

Comedian Jeffrey Ross wrote that Donny was a complete ‘rock star’ in a hilarious tribute shared on Instagram as he wrote: ‘Going to miss my beautiful and generous friend.’ My condolences to his family and his older brother Jeff Beacher.

Donny’s list of celebrity friends seemed endless with shared snaps of wild nights out with the hottest stars in town, including Nick and Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner, Demi Lovato and Paris Hilton.
